With all the misinformation running amok in the digital age, it's no surprise that reports on the death of cash have been greatly exaggerated. As we have seen, time and time again, cash is not only alive, it is thriving, and is being viewed more and more as a fundamental social good.

The voices supporting cash often have a hard time being heard in the digital age where every new technology demands the floor. Still, global demand for cash is evident and more measurable than people think. These 20 studies, as well as countless more, show how cash plays a vital role in society.
