In Angus, Scotland, 75% of people favor coin-operated parking meters

The statistic comes from an Angus Council's survey of parking preferences, published in June 2019 leading to a reintroduction to coin-friendly parking in October 2019.

In May 2019, approximately 2,000 people took part in the Scottish council survey. The results showed that two-thirds say they would use our car parks more frequently if coin-operated meters were available and 4 in 5 favored their re-introduction.
