28 January 2021: The Evolution of Payments During The Pandemic & The Resilience Of Cash

Whilst the in-person Global Currency Forum event has been delayed, there is no need to wait for it to start talking about valuable topics around the future of cash and currency. The GCF has announced a Virtual Event Series, offering unique opportunities to help shape the future of cash.

Moderated by award-winning journalist Bofta Yimam, the virtual event series will be free to attend, and will feature live discussions and audience Q&As in real time through the GCF's online platform.

The first event in the series, taking place on 28 January 2021, will include a look at how the pandemic has impacted the distribution, provision and acceptance of cash and its resilience during times of crises, as well as the vital part it plays in our daily lives and the economy as a whole.
