From 25th to 27th June 2018, the Central Bank Payments Conference (CBPC) will be taking place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.

Focusing on payments and payment systems issues from a central bank perspective, this two-day program promises to provide ample opportunity for central bank governors, directors, managers and deputies to discuss the challenges and opporunties in the evolving global payments landscape.

Currency Research also invites the most relevant representatives from monetary authorities, international financial institution and non-central bank payment service providers.

As the sun sets on Monday 25th June 2018, delegates will be welcomed with a cocktail reception at the Banyan Deck of the Shangri-La Hotel. The next morning, the conference will begin with a jam-packed two-day programe focusing on pressing issues. Topics include cyber attacks, digital currencies, domestic card schemes, cross-border payments, mobile payments and financial inclusion.

There will also be panel discussion and speeches by keynote speakers Benoît Coeure, Executive Board Member of the European Central Bank and Chairman of the CPMI, Jacqueline Loh Deputy Managing Director at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Chair of the Markets Committee, and last but not least, Paul Stoddart, CEO of Vocalink.
