From the 11th-13th June 2018, the High Security Printing™ Latin America Conference will take place at the Secrets Cap Cana Hotel, Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic.

Around 300 industry leaders from around the world will bring their expertise to the table in discussion about the document protection issues facing the region itself and the emerging technologies advancing the industry forward. Reinforced by two workshops and 35 tech stalls in the trade show and plenty of opportunities for networking with sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates, attendees are sure to benefit from this valuable knowledge share.

The event takes off two workshops run by leaders in their field. The first will demonstrate how to 'See Your Banknotes Like a Machine' and the second offers a Practitioner's Perspective on Combating Document Fraud and Counterfeiting.

Using real-life cases, this workshop will offer a practical overview of the various methods used for altering, tampering with and counterfeiting of passports and ID documents. It will look at commercially available products that can be used in counterfeits, and how these products can deceive both professional and layman into believing the item is genuine.
